Summer Sonic, Pitchfork, Celebrate Brooklyn, Hardfest—there’s a fantastic festival for all music lovers across the country, focusing on different genres, live acts and regions.

Watch out for: mosh pits and high temperatures.

Stay hydrated and prepare a backpack with essential items like sun block, water, a hat, snacks, and band aid (you never know when you might need one), and preferably go with a group.

The Beach

There’s no better time to hit the beach than now, when everyone’s on vacation, ready to play beach volleyball, or stay in a cool beach resort, traveling in packs or simply with your partner. It’s also the perfect chance to ditch those drabs and flaunt your summer bod in stylish beach wear!

Watch out for: crazy tourist traffic and crazy humidity.

Avoid going at rush hours and don’t forget to apply generous layers of suntan lotion in small intervals to avoid a sunburn.

Highly Anticipated Blockbusters

Dunkirk, Wonder Woman, Transformers: The Last Knight, Captain Underpants—there’s something for everyone at the movies this summer—with production companies releasing some of the year’s best blockbusters at a time when everyone can enjoy them!
